Landmark Theatre Windows Come To Life!
- Sep 10, 2015
We’re kicking off Syracuse Fashion Week Fall 2015 with the 3rd annual presentation of the Landmark Theatre Window Project. The Window Project intersects fashion & commerce; art & business; creativity & advertising. The project will bring people downtown and celebrate local businesses in an historic venue. Any and all businesses, designers and artists are welcome to participate.
There are 44 windows in the Landmark Theatre for sale, located on Clinton St and Jefferson St, in downtown Syracuse. Each participant will create a window concept, and then design, decorate and clothe a live model. You are free to create anything you want in your window to get your business noticed or your message communicated. The only limitation is your own imagination. The only stipulation is the window must have a live mannequin model in it. The models will be in the window for one hour – from 7:30pm-8:30pm. The Landmark Theatre will host an-after party, with music, food, drinks, raffles and more.
The windows can be loaded in on 9/3, 9/4, 9/8 or 9/9 during regular business hours. You may call Danielle Bianco, General Manager at the Landmark to coordinate. Her phone # is 256-4557. The displays can be taken down between 9/18- and 9/21.
Most of the windows are 36” wide x 36” deep by 80” high. In addition, there are 2 triple windows available.
The cost to participate is $100.00 for a single, $300.00 for a triple. Additionally we suggest the models be paid – we suggest $50.00 per model. You are free to use any model you like. If you would like us to find a model for your window, simply ask! Please make checks payable to “Syracuse Fashion week,.” We can also accept credit cards.
The Window Project is guaranteed to get a lot of media attention, as always. The Landmark Theatre windows will come alive! Join us and promote your business in this unique, creative event.
